坂井泉水さんの早すぎる死。
初期の曲には、孤独、温もり、いつか夢　そばにいての言葉が多い。ヒット曲は多く、アーティストとしては成功したかもしれないが、そこに、孤独を感じる。そして、思いがけない癌闘病中の不慮の事故.

音楽の曲作りから見れば、曲自体は優等生的な出来ではあるが、新しさやラジカルなもはない。しかし、自分のスタイルを堅持し、歌詞も常に、非運な状況から、夢を追い、希望をもち、愛を求め続けるものが多い。

ZARDの歌詞からは、私小説的な側面、精神的に満たされない愛、不安が根底に感じられる。それを乗り越え、真実の愛を見つけたいが、出来ない運命。彼女は、求める愛が得られないフラストレーションを作曲へのエネルギーにかえ、このような素晴らしい曲を作り続けたのではないだろうか。こんな独りよがりの想像をしながら、感情移入をすると、涙が止まらない。大切なものを失った気持ちで、早すぎる死！

人間は、不安、憤り等の満足できない境遇に追いつめられた時、それだけ大きなエネルギーを得て、創造性がえられるのではないだろうか。もちろん、そのようなエネルギーがなくても、芸術性を高めることができる天才もまれにはいるが......

Music in her early era shows many words such as “loneliness”, “sometime in dream”, “not leave me alone”. She has achieved a great succeed as an artist, but I have felt some loneliness from her not as a successor. Then, it has revealed she has suffered from an unexpected disease and the accident has made her to death. It is so peculiar and sad destiny.

As point of making music, she is sophisticated and a talented artist making music, but not the one to make a history in music scene and great originality. However, she has been keeping her own style of music, and the lyrics in her music are expressing "chasing dreams", "keeping hopes in future", "and exploring loves"

I feel her lyric is like a private novel, and can see not satisfied love, and anxiety in her lyrics. Chasing dreams and true love but it is always no way to develop. The frustrations not to achieve those desires, are driving her and giving energy to her to compose her great music, I suppose. This is just my own idea about her, and when I was concentrating to listen to her music, I cannot stop my tears. Feeling of loosing the most important things and too early death.....

People can develope huge energies, and can create a great music, when they are in circumstances such as anxiety, frustration and unsatisfaction. Rarely some genius person has a talent to create art without lots of energy.
